TATE St. Ives

St. Ives Surf School

Learn to surf with highly-trained and dedicated watermen and women in a safe, fun and friendly environment. Our Surf School is located on the blue flag awarded Porthmeor Beach, just a stone’s throw away from the heart of St Ives. Porthmeor is the ultimate surfing playground and we cannot wait to get you acquainted. Nestled on the West facing side of St Ives, we benefit from a unique combination of exposure to Atlantic swells and good protection from the prevailing wind. The clean conditions this creates, provide an absolutely ideal environment for learning to surf.

St. Ives Tennis club

Head coach Julie Williams runs group and individual coaching for adults and juniors through her company JW Tennis. Julie is available throughout the week if you would like to book private lessons with her. PLUS every Saturday, she organises six hours of coaching sessions including four junior groups for various ages - from 2-year-old Mini Tots upwards - and also Adults LTA Cardio Tennis and two hours of Adult Practice and Play for improvers.
