Yes, tea is grown in Cornwall, at the Tregothnan Estate which has been home to the same family since 1335. We were lucky enough to be taken on a tour around the estate by Jonathon Jones, the Garden Director, who passed on just a fraction of his incredible knowledge and experience. Jonathon trained at The Royal Botanic Garden and joined Tregothnan in 1996 as Head Gardener and now heads the team. The estate is also the UK's largest producer of foliage for the floristry industry and produce a stunning array of cut camelia's. If you want to treat your self ask us to arrange a private tour of the gardens: and when we say private we mean private - if its only the two of you then there will only be the two of you roaming the beautiful estate with one of the head gardeners. Now that's a special treat.
