Nigel Ekins (pictured) and his son are the Michael Schumachers of the smoked food world, with more awards than he can shake a mackerel at! From their tiny premises in Penryn they produce some heavenly smoked cheeses and fish, including the acclaimed Tesyn goats cheese which is one of our popular breakfast dishes which we melt on home-made bread and serve with a poached egg. We also get all our smoked mackerel and their multi award winning smoked salmon.
One of Rick Stein's 'food heros', Nigel, an ex lifeboatman from St Agnes, is so passionate about what he does you can't help but be impressed.
