Clarence Court Free Range Eggs
Sharon Driscoll is quite the rare breed. As well as tending to her own family of five, she is the sole carer for over 3,500 Clarence Court free range hens near Bodmin. Sharon tends the flocks of Cotswold Legbars that produce the stunning eggs with the blue shells that we use in the hotel.
Sharon’s day starts at around 7:00am when she lets her brood out of the poultry sheds. After, she tends to the surrounding environment ensuring her flock can roam on acres of clean, picturesque Cornish countryside. This allows each hen the freedom of expression and fullness of life to lay a truly free range farm fresh egg, whilst ensuring the survival of rare breeds.
Its taken a long time to find such a high quality producer of eggs and we are proud that these eggs are used in top London restaurants including the Ivy!
