Trewyn Gardens
Hidden in the middle of St Ives, accessed round the back of the Barclay's bank is a small oasis of calm of sub tropical plants, borders, lawn, plenty of benches and a Barbara Hepworth sculpture thrown in. Remarkably, even in high season, it's very quiet and is a favourite haunt of the locals taking a peaceful moment with a book or the paper. A very calming place to be.
It's only a 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel.
