Boating & Fishing
There are plenty of opportunities to 'Get Afloat' from St. Ives Harbour. Various craft sail each day to Seal Island where you can observe the grey Atlantic seals at play or rest, even see sunfish and dolphins on the way. This trip past the Tate Gallery, Porthmeor Beach and along the beautiful coast will take about 1 hour 20 minutes.
Local boats also offer fishing trips, 'spinning' for mackerel.
There are also small motor boats for hire (weather permitting) when you can take to the sea and potter around St. Ives bay at your leisure.
