Train to Falmouth & NMMC

National Maritime Museum

If you fancy a whole day out why not head over to the south coast and visit Falmouth, Cornwall's second largest town. You will need to catch the train, and whilst it does involve 2 changes the journey should run smoothly. When you are there you can visit the award winning National Maritime Museum Cornwall which transports you into the world of small boats and Cornish maritime history. Have lunch in town (Harbour Lights serve fab sustainably catch fish with chips). Have a mooch and then maybe head over to Pendennis Castle before catching the train back...
