Paradise Park, Cornwall

Paradise Park

Paradise Park

A tropical bird garden, in Hayle, where otters, red pandas, native red squirrels and the rare Cornish chough can all be seen. The Park is set around a Victorian walled garden and has won numerous awards for its conservation work. There is a huge array of birds from rare parrots to huge snowy white owls and pelicans to penguins. They also specialise in breeding threatened and endangered species.

The 'Fun Farm' is a favourite with children, and daily events bring visitors closer to the wildlife.

The 'Jungle Barn' indoor play centre is a great option for children especially when the weather is cold and wet, and it has those great slides that Mums and Dads can use with their kids and have more fun.

Catch the bus to Hayle. Not cheap, but still good value.
