Marine Conservation Society

This is what's called a visitor gifting scheme, and here's how it works: every night you stay you pay £1, and we pay all the money raised to the Marine Conservation Society. They then spend the money on the fantastic work they do protecting and improving our coastal waters. It's an opt-out scheme, which means the money is deducted unless you ask us not to. In just under three years (we started in early 2005), the scheme's raised over £6,000. We are committed to the scheme, and to working more closely on specific projects in Cornwall with the MCS.
